- Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime — already included in Windows 11; on Windows 10 it usually ships with the installer.

Is Luneta free?
Yes. Luneta is 100% free. There is no subscription, no account and no paid feature.
Which Windows versions does Luneta support?
Luneta runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). It uses the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime, which is already included in Windows 11.
Do I need an account to use AI in Luneta?
Not for Qwen, the default provider, which works without login. Other providers (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Mistral, DeepSeek, Kimi and Perplexity) show a "login" badge and ask for authentication inside the chat.
How do I open an installed application with Luneta?
Type the application name in the search bar and press Enter. Luneta reads the Windows Start Menu shortcuts (.lnk) and opens the matching application.
What is the default global shortcut of Luneta?
The default shortcut is Alt+Space, but it is fully configurable in the app settings, so it never conflicts with other launchers.
Does Luneta collect my data?
We do not collect personal data. Everything runs locally on your computer; your question history stays on your machine. The only unrelated strip is a possible ad banner in the chat footer, which can be disabled in the code.
How do I update Luneta?
Luneta has built-in auto-update: new versions published on GitHub Releases are downloaded and installed automatically. You can also manually download the latest installer from the releases page.
Can I switch AI providers quickly?
Yes. Click the gear icon in the search bar and choose between Qwen, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Mistral, DeepSeek, Kimi and Perplexity. The active provider is shown in the search field.
